Lithia Maple, Ashland OR

I grew up in Southern Oregon.  As a schoolchild, I went on countless field trips to Lithia Park in Ashland, Oregon.  Then, the park was all about the duck ponds and playgrounds.  Today, decades later, the park means other things.  Including sitting in a small little glade near running water beneath the boughs of this Japanese Maple.
